Biography

Stephanie graduated from Johns Hopkins University with a B.S. in Molecular & Cellular Biology in 2012. After working in the laboratory of Dr. John Chang at UC San Diego for two years, she joined the Medical Scientist Training Program at the University of Michigan where she is currently pursuing her thesis work in the laboratory of Dr. Pavan Reddy.

Research Interests

The eukaryotic secretory pathway coordinates organized transport of newly synthesized proteins from the endoplasmic reticulum toward their target subcellular compartment, or into the extracellular space. I’m interested in studying this pathway, particularly COPII mediated ER-Golgi vesicle transport, in T lymphocytes.
