Research Interests

My research focuses on understanding the molecular mechanisms involved in lung inflammation and fibrosis. I use human and mouse lung fibroblasts to study the fibroblast activation (proliferation, differentiation and apoptosis) and regulation by a variety of mediators (e.g. PGE2) and pharmacological inhibitors.
