Peter Chockley

Immunology Program Graduate Student Candidate

University of Michigan B.S. Biochemistry 2010 While earning my degree I worked with Dr. Pavan Reddy studying graft versus host disease post bone marrow transplantation. After graduation I continued my studies by working on characterizing a novel cytotoxic cell population in zebrafish at the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology. After two years there I returned home for my graduate studies and began studying cancer and natural killer cells. Throughout these years I was a member of the Michigan Fencing team and during my stint in Germany I played lacrosse in the Bundesliga Sued. Currently, I'm an avid hockey player and cyclist.

Research Interests

I'm working to control metastatic spread via deciphering the immunological differences between primary tumor and metastasizing cells.
