Certificates and Dual Degrees - In addition to the Curriculum, a major advantage of PIBS is the opportunity to enroll in a number of certificate programs made possible through the Rackham Graduate School, or to pursue a dual degree. Students who choose to augment their studies with a certificate or dual degree from a participating school within the University of Michigan find that doing so not only enhances their education, but also increases their marketability.

School of Public Health Graduate Certificates in Risk Science and Human Health - Designed to equip students from various backgrounds with a basic understanding of how to begin addressing increasingly complex human health risk in a rapidly changing technological, social, economic, and political landscape. No additional fees are required by the Certificate and doctoral students who are able to complete the requirements using their elective courses will not incur any additional costs.
